Originally from Germany, where I spent my early life and youth, I have since lived and worked across several countries and cultures. I am a psychologist with a background in social and health psychology (Master’s, France) and a PhD in experimental psychology (Canada), where I studied how the brain processes our sense of self and decisions using EEG and fMRI research methods. Today, I work as a researcher in China, exploring how people experience emotions, change, tension, and inner conflict.
Alongside my academic work, I’m trained in Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and humanistic approaches inspired by Carl Rogers. These influences shape the way I listen and accompany people in reflective and emotionally sensitive conversations.
